The traveller comes home to catastrophe. Revolution may save Melkjeven, but will it still be home?
Jane is a nomad, in love with the sea and desperate to make her home on Melkjeven. The planet is becoming uninhabitable; the choices are exile or betrayal of its founding Commitment. Jane must overcome her own terrors and the myriad spirits so the scientists can rescue their home. She finds and loses love, risking life and soul in the search for survival.

I have written about the search for a home, fear for the future and what to do when your dreams go sour from the inside. It’s an adventure story too, with storms, volcanoes and a scary polar bear.
